Woodland Photoshoot
A family photoshoot in the woods is a fab way to get some awesome action family photos. I had a great time last Autumn with this gorgeous family and their woodland photoshoot. Mum and Dad were keen to get some more action pix of their two boys rather than have the focus on themselves. I did manage to entice them into a few shots though as I knew they may regret the not having taken them later when they saw the images.
Games, games and more games!
The boys were up for a laugh, very keen on racing around, throwing leaves and sticks and log jumping competitions! It was a chilly and misty day but that didn’t matter one iota! We started off with a few games to get the boys used to the camera and in the vibe. That didn’t take long! Soon they were reenacting Olympic sprinters, winning medals and sailing ships across ancient oceans!
Green, natural backdrop
The woods were a lovely backdrop for their stunning photos. The foliage from the trees actually provided great shelter which made everyone happy! There is something fresh, green and clean about a family photoshoot in the woods. Even the soil seems clean somehow! No worries about a few leaves moss and dirt!!
This style of Brighton family photography is all about chilling out, having a laugh and getting some lovely natural moments and reactions. The whole shoot lasted about an hour and a half and the boys had a blast despite a few initial groans about taking their jackets off!
